Last year we used different tools and different themes each day. This year we wanted a single narrative that would last all 25 days.
The story is human created. We knew we needed 25 clips and decided what we wanted for each day.
Each picture is AI generated in Midjourney using the Edit tool. We used the same starting image for each, and replaced the background to create the starting frames. We created several images for each day (83 attempts in total) and curated the best.
Each 6 second clip is generated in Hailuo AI using the Midjourney pic as a starting image, and a human created prompt. We created a couple of clips each day (55 in total) and curated the best.
The background music was created in Udio. We got what we wanted on the first go!
Finally we used Runway's video editor to combine the audio and video to create the final clips.
A fun (and most importantly, quick) multi-step human-AI project!
